The Kenya National Highway Authority has announced the temporary closure of a section of the Nairobi Southern Bypass for the installation of a Virtual Weighbridge. The closure will be between Lang’ata Interchange and Ngong Interchange on both bounds, one lane on each bound at a time.
According to the statement, the closure will be from 27th December 2023 to 23rd January 2024.

The authority has urged motorists to exercise caution when approaching the affected section and to follow the traffic guidance in place as they use a single lane on each carriageway.
