Tahmeed Issues a Statement on the Fatal Busia-Kisumu Highway Accident Involving Their Bus and an Oil Tanker

Tahmeed Coach issued a statement on the fatal Busia-Kisumu accident involving their bus and an oil tanker. In the statement, the bus company confirmed that their bus, registration number KCV 296R, headed to Mombasa from Busia was involved in an accident at 1:20pm near Mundika primary school.

The company further stated that all the 9 people onboard, 6 passengers and 3 crew members, were evacuated to the nearest hospital for treatment. They reiterated their commitment to adhere to safety regulations and are cooperating with authorities investigating the accident. The company also wished families affected a quick recovery and assured future passengers that measures have been put in place to ensure they get to their destination in good time.
