NTSA: How to Apply for New Motor Vehicle Registration Through E-Citizen

For car dealers, new vehicle registration with NTSA is now being done through eCitizen. The process starts after you have completed the pre registration inspection. Here are the steps:

  • Step 1: Log into your E-Citizen account and select the new NTSA service portal.
  • Step 2: Switch accounts to your organisation.
  • Step3: Click on Registration Sales, fill the General Information form and click next
  • Step 4: Provide KRA pin
  • Step 5: Fill the Request for Vehicle Modification form and click next
  • Step 6: Select type of ownership; whether single or joint
  • Step 7: Provide owner’s details and in case of joint ownership, also the financier and click next
  • Step 8: Provide collection counter details for both the logbook and number plates
  • Step 9: Provide details of authorized person to collect the logbook and plates
  • Step 10: Upload entry documents, submit, pay and complete
